Technical Architecture & Processing Model

The browser sends uploaded files to the ConvertFast processing API over HTTPS. Image operations use image-processing services, while video and audio operations use FFmpeg-based workers and PDF operations use dedicated document utilities. The browser receives the completed output as a download.

Input files are removed after processing. Download files are removed when delivery closes, and a scheduled cleanup process removes abandoned temporary files that remain after an interrupted request. ConvertFast is not a file-storage service.

Data Privacy & Automatic File Cleanup

We adhere to a strict ephemeral file handling policy:

  • No Permanent Storage: Uploaded input files and processed output files are never retained permanently on our servers.
  • Automatic Deletion: Inputs are removed after processing, outputs are removed after delivery closes, and abandoned temporary files are handled by a scheduled cleanup process.
  • No User Data Selling: We do not inspect file contents for advertising profiling or sell user data to third parties.
