What This Processing Changes

The tool samples still frames from the decoded video. It does not preserve audio, motion, subtitles, or interactive playback.

How to Check the Result

  1. Check the requested moment in each frame.
  2. The still has the source video’s dimensions; it cannot recover details lost in video compression.

Limits and Troubleshooting

  • Use manual timestamps when one exact moment matters.
  • If a requested timestamp exceeds the duration, choose an earlier point and retry.

Worked Example: Download two explicitly selected still frames as a ZIP.

  1. Upload sample.mp4 from the example below.
  2. Select Specific timestamps in Frame selection, then set timestamps: 0.5,1, Output format: jpg.
  3. Process and download; play the result from beginning to end.

Check Your Download

  • Check the requested moment in each frame.
  • The still has the source video’s dimensions; it cannot recover details lost in video compression.

Limit: Use comma-separated timestamps for explicit selection. Automatic sampling does not guarantee a specific scene.

Download the example input and repeat the steps above. These are generated test files, not customer uploads.
